What should I expect?

"The evening was very effective, calm, realistic but still optimistic. I’m so glad I came, thank you” - Jules, a prospective adopter

Information evenings are friendly, free events which tell you what you need to know about adopting children with Buckinghamshire Council.

You will hear from our team as well as current adoptive parents, and learn more about the children awaiting adoption, how the process works and what life is like as an adopter.

You are welcome to come along regardless of whatever stage you are at in considering adoption. We provide time during the event to answer questions, as well as space to have an individual chat with our team.

Get in touch
